We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our Analytics team and help create memorable gaming experiences by collecting, formatting and modelling all external and internal data in order to extract valuable and actionable insights.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and conduct data-driven research and estimates to influence product decisions and development
- Build descriptive and predictive models that build on our knowledge and understanding of players' behavior
- Robust A/B testing and Causal inference analyses
- Build elegant and scalable game systems, based on behavioral mathematics, game theory, and simulations
- Develop data science standalone tools, as well as machine learning models and pipelines
- Work closely with product teams and Senior Data Scientists to implement data science solutions and insights, making data pipelines an integral part of our production cycle
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Passion for Data Science
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Econometrics, or other quantitative fields
- Basic knowledge of Python, Julia or R, and SQL
- Understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English

But how can the whole experience be captured in a simulation? How easy is it to troubleshoot, test, and analyze this simulation? To that, we say “Challenge accepted”!
Our goal is to re-create the dynamic interaction that football brings in our Football Engine. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Tools) to help us on a mission of delivering the best football experience to millions of users through our games! You would be a part of a world-class team engineering advanced tools solutions for our in-house Football Engine.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Integrate, debug, and test various technologies for evaluating cutting-edge Animation systems
- Work side by side with animators, technical artists, and engineers to understand their software tool pain points, prioritize solutions, and create the systems and tools that turbocharge their work
- Coordinate with infrastructure and tools teams across Nordeus to evaluate and integrate with internal systems
- Create robust interfaces, tools, and data pipelines that allow animators, technical artists, and engineers to investigate different approaches rapidly
- Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, identify priorities, and satisfy project needs efficiently
- Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of football animation problem-solving
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 1 - 3 years of software engineering experience
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including, but not limited to C#, Python, JavaScript
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with web development
- Know your way around a Unix shell
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including coding, algorithms, problem-solving and data analysis skills
Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Able to work independently under minimum supervision
BONUS:
- Familiarity with Digital Content Creation Tools (Maya, MotionBuilder, Photoshop)
Knowledge of the Unity game engine
Experience with UI/UX design and implementation
Experience with Blazor
Experience with multivariate data visualization techniques
